Tanker 52, a 2006 Pierce International, is a crucial component of our firefighting fleet, designed to deliver a reliable water supply in areas lacking sufficient hydrant coverage. With a powerful 1500 GPM pump and a sizable 2000-gallon water tank, Tanker 52 ensures that our firefighters have the necessary resources to effectively combat fires, particularly in rural and remote locations.

This tanker is housed at Station 2, strategically located to provide rapid response and support to firefighting operations throughout our service area. The Pierce International series is renowned for its robustness, advanced safety features, and efficiency in both transport and pumping capabilities.

Tanker 52 is operated by a dedicated team of highly trained firefighters who are proficient in its use and maintenance. The tanker is equipped with:

  • A high-capacity pump for effective fire suppression
  • A large water tank to provide a sustained water supply
  • Quick dump valves for rapid water release into portable tanks
  • Hose connections and pre-connected lines for versatile operations
